b'John SavileClub PresidentJohn joined the club as a junior in 1967.He has done so much for our club in the last 55 years, both on and off the course and we are lucky to have him as our President.Here are some of Savs highlights:Off the CourseHe was elected to the committee in 1980 and served until 2008He was Chairman of Course Committee from 1996 to 2006He has been Club Captain on two occasions in 1990 and 2006He became Club President and a Life Member in 2013On the CourseHe has been Club Champion on three occasionsHe played and captained our first team for over twenty years.He has represented Glamorgan at Junior, Mens and Senior LevelHe also represented South Wales Boys at Under 18s, back in the day!1'
